Jessica & Brian

Tuesday, November 30, 2010
I vaguely remember the day Jessica told me, giddily, about Brian. I hoped he was good enough for her. He is.  (If I were to have given a toast, that would have been the start).

Jess and Brian are friends of mine, and it was more than an honor to photograph their wedding, it was a pleasure!  Choosing favorites was extraordinarily difficult, but here's what made the final cut.

Casey took the guys out for a while while I was with the girls, and let me say, this simply cracks me up! But I can take no credit for it. Wish I could.
First moments with mom and dad at the Piper Palm House in Tower Grove Park where the ceremony was held. I love dad's expression here, seeing his baby girl in her wedding gown.  (again, props to Casey!)

For their bridal portraits, they wanted to show a "rustic sweetness" with textures, color, and romantic drama. They brought it! Watch out. Take a deep breath. Go any deeper, and you might just run out of air.  They will give you looks that take your breath away.
Then it was off to the reception, at the cozy Bevo Mill, where the entire wedding party donned mustaches! How amazingly fun is that?
